David Jones, MBA, CPA, CFF, CFE


The founder, Mr. David Jones, retired after 24 years with the Internal Revenue Service in the Civil and Criminal Divisions as an auditor, Special Agent Investigator, and retired as a GS-14 Supervisory Special Agent. He managed 10 Special Agents, Support Staff, and a caseload that consisted of Federal Criminal cases. After retirement in 2007, he founded DJCPA. He worked for three years as a Senior Financial Investigator providing consulting services to the US Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service, and ten years as a contract Federal Background Investigator for the Office of Personnel Management and the Department of Defense. DJCPA has provided EEO investigation services to various Federal Agencies, i.e., the US Department of Veterans Affairs, the US Department of Agriculture Office of Inspector General, the Department of Energy, the Department of Commerce, and the United Department of State Office of Diplomatic Security.

 

Mr. Jones is a Vietnam Era Veteran of the US Army. He has a BBA degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified by the AICPA in Financial Forensic (CFF), a Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), Certified EEO Investigator by the Federal EEOC Institute, a Certified EEO Counselor, and a Registered Mediator.

 

Mr. Jones is responsible for all Investigators' work performance, and he is the point of contact for operational questions and daily operations. As such, he advises the Team Leads,  EEO Investigators, Counselors, reviews their work, and monitors all investigation's status. Mr. Jones is responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, managing all fiscal matters, and working directly with the Contractor Office Representative (COR).
